MM&DD VII  I never had any intention to let Myles disappear like this, until I had an experience with someone I was dating, a very sweet man battling old demons, and who abused drugs to quiet their voices.  While dating, he relapsed on crystal and vanished.  I tried to find help for him, thinking I could save him, but I was pretty naive about how deep drug’s claws can dig.  He knocked on my door a year later to apologize, looking five years older - but clean.   Ironically, while doing this storyline, he relapsed again.  I worry about him and wish him well, but I’m wiser this time around, and have to wait and hope he can save himself.    He was the third person close to me now out of my life, and twisted out of recognition, because of this filthy drug, and I miss all of them.  I don’t know yet if Myles will come back one day.  I’ll miss the little bugger, but it felt time to write him out using this story.

Your latest are great…Myles’ disappearance was pretty moving in the end. Under the comedy you got the sad truth. Just figured I’d say keep up the good work & all… Karl in S.F.
