This was definitely an interesting - and sobering - one to research. I had no idea a lot of these guys were dead.I choose not to list porn stars that died of AIDS or murder, preferring to focus on the ones that came to a bad end because of choices they made. I was hoping to highlight their human failings and an industry that can magnify an existing problem, despite the fact that the community often elevates them to demi-god status.Hey, I get that most of the guys in movies are just living out a fantasy, and that this industry has waaay fewer victims than straight porn, but they’re stumbling around like the rest of us too. Maybe the adulation they receive for their dicks and bodies left some of them with not much else to rely on when the cameras stopped rolling. Just a theory….

I have plenty of issues with the industry but the weird attitude towards porn “stars” can also tip bizarrely in the other direction.
I really love your piece, but how it’s read will entirely on the audience who reads it. An urban gay audience will approach it completely differently than a straight crowd, or most women. Anything with porn is a lightning rod for a lot of strange projections.

I agree, too hard to read, both for the size it’ll be printed, and due to the layout. You’re talking to the internet generation; 140 characters or less.
Try separating each thing he’s saying into several overlapping word-bubbles. It achieves the same idea of overwhelming the reader with details, and makes it easier to read. And maybe put your punch line at the bottom, separate from the rest. It adds a pause after all his ranting. Kinda like this:
It’s true. It’s all true. Twitter-minds don’t read more than 140-characters at a time. And we’re all twitter-heads. I’d say sacrifice at least a few of these sentences so the text can be a tad more jumbo. I get what you’re saying Ty, but it can’t be funny if everybody’s too tired to read the thing… (Sexy pic, btw. When are we gonna see some stump-fucking?).
Finished the revision you guys suggested, and you were right - it looks much better. Still the clutter and mass of names, but actually less to read, and easier to do so. Good work, everyone.
